She Got Ga,e

WASHINGTON, D.C. – There are just some things one can come to expect this time of year, signs of the season if you may.

It’s getting dark earlier. The leaves have vacated their trees. Bright, flashing holiday lights and huge inflatables have returned to front yards, and Cyber Monday sales have reached deep into our pockets already. And just for good measure, the season’s first snow storm made an appearance that created havoc with games on our agenda last weekend.

Of course that stop was in Washington, D.C. for the 2017 rendition of the She Got Game Classic. It’s a pre-holiday East coast girls basketball tradition, and not even that little bit of wintry weather could get Mother Nature a stop!

Teams from 16 states, D.C., as well as Canada and Australia gathered in the Nation’s Capital this year.  While the weather had us awaiting schedule changes and road conditions the forecast of great basketball action was never in doubt.

Follow the link below to our initial coverage from earlier this week featuring over 40 athletes.
