CHICAGO – For the second straight year the Jordan Brand Classic has found a new venue. The senior all-star will showcase the future star on March 27 at the Wintrust Arena in the New South Side neighborhood of the city Michael Jordan secured six NBA World Championships during the 1990s.

“We couldn’t be more excited to host this year’s Jordan Brand Classic in Chicago, a city deeply rooted in basketball culture,” said Craig Williams, President, Jordan Brand. “What started in Chicago inspired a culture that ultimately became the foundation of Jordan Brand. It’s only fitting that the next generation of basketball stars convene for this prestigious event here in Chicago, a place where greatness is born.”

The boys’ game will tip 9 p.m. ET and is preceded by the girls’ game at 7.

Two of the biggest snubs from the McDonald’s All American Games were Diamond Johnson of Neumann-Goretti (Philadelphia), a highly rated point guard who signed with Rutgers, and sharpshooter Cameron Johnson of nationally ranked Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.), who is off to LSU. Thankfully both will play at this prestigious event.
