Stat Sheet Spotlight Game Two

For the second straight game the USA U16 Women’s National Team rolled to an early lead but this time around actually scored 62% of their total points in the second half to cruise by Argentina 98 – 28.  After two games their average margin of victory is an astounding 63 points while holding their first two opponents to just a combined offensive output of 48 points.  Thursday’s win secured the number one seed out of Pool A regardless of the outcome Friday’s game with Costa Rica.  Once again we take a look at the stat sheet in hopes of finding those key numbers that coaches, opponents and those of us with nothing better to do analyze, contemplate and asses to find insight and solutions.  Below is a link to yesterday’s box score from the game with Argentina as well as another “spotlight” on some key stats.
