BENSALEM, Pa. – The Blue Star Media Elite 25 football rankings received a jolt with three teams dropping out and heading home for the year.

The three that joined the Elite 25 are all undefeated and steaming en route to championships. No. 20 Trinity Christian Academy (Jacksonville, Fla.) is 11-0 and rolling to another Class 3A needing three more wins. No. 24. Lone Peak (Highland, Utah) is 13-0 and sky-high after knocking off then-No. 18 Bingham (South Jordan), 26-9, in Class 5A state semifinals. This Friday afternoon the Knights play Herriman in 5A final at University of Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.

In New York, No. 25 Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, N.Y.) has 10 straight and focused on the prize: the New York Catholic High School Football League Class AAA championship. The Crusaders crushed St. Peter’s (Staten Island), 49-7, in the semifinals and will tee it up Saturday against Cardinal Hayes (Bronx) in final at Fordham University’s Jack Coffey Field.
