Can Louisville men’s Basketball Win a Game?

Dick Weiss on College Basketball

Louisville had hit rock bottom in men’s basketball.

the Cardinals were Oh for Maui, losing a third straight tournament game when Cincinnati buried them, 81-72, in the seventh place game.
The Ville is now 0-6, their worst start since the 1940-41 season.
Kenny Payne could have never imagined this when he left the NBA Knicks to accept this job.
Payne was a starter on the Cardinals’ 1986, a beloved player in the city. But he looks like a lost soul, trying to get this souless team to respond to his coachiing.
He has changed lineups, but this team does not have enough talent to win three games in the ACC. And no one wants to think about the Cardinals’ Bluegrass rivalry against Kentucky.
The Cardinals, who lost by 26 points to Arkansas in the Maui opener and only scored 38 in a 32 point loss to Texas Christian in the consolation semis, committed 15 yutnoverss shot 3 for 13 from the three and gave up 30
points in the paint. The 5-3 Bearcats outscored them, 50-32, in the second half. “I’m not panicking,” Payne said. “We’ll keep fighting.”
It is hard to see light at the end of this tunnel.
Lookkng at the schedule, there is a real possibility the team’s first win won’t come until they play Florida A & M Dec. 17, then host Lipscomb on the 20th. If the Cards can’t win either of those games, they might not win a game this season.
