CHANGE: Chipotle Nationals embraces new name and will relocate games to Brownsburg, IN from April 4-6; several Blue Star Media Elite 25 teams will comprise stellar fields

BENSALEM, Pa. – The Chipotle High School Basketball National officially announced the name change and the change of venues for the 2024 event it was announced today by event operator Paragon Marketing of Chicago.

Previously known as the GEICO Nationals, the Chipotle Nationals will take place at Brownsburg High School or a suburban town in close proximity to Indianapolis, Indiana. The event will be run April 4-6 and feature six girls’ teams and eight on the boys’ side. Several of the teams in both fields are in the Blue Star Media Elite 25 rankings.

The event was most recently played in Fort Myers, Florida.

The single-elimination tournament will be broadcast live entirely on ESPN platforms (ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU).

History

The National High School Invitational (NHSI) was created in 2009 by Paragon Marketing Group to provide a platform for the top, nationally ranked high school basketball teams in the country to compete against one another in a season-ending tournament.

Over the course of fifteen-years, this event (known previously as DICK’S Nationals and GEICO Nationals) has taken place in DC, NYC, FL, and has crowned the best high school basketball teams in the country. In 2024, the event moved to Brownsburg, IN and became the Chipotle High School Basketball Nationals “Chipotle Nationals”.

2018 – Montverde, FL & Central Valley, WA

2019 – IMG Academy (FL) & New Hope Academy (MD)

2021 – Montverde (FL) & Westlake (GA)

2022 – Montverde (FL) & Montverde Academy (FL)

2023 – Link Academy (MO) & Montverde Academy (FL).
