MONROE, NJ – Spring has sprung, and what better way to start a new season then to get a glimpse of the future?
The setting could not have been more perfect. It was Easter Eve, Final 4 weekend, coming off what has been a pair of phenomenal NCAA Tournaments with epic games. And how great was the Women’s Tournament been? Our team here at Blue Star remembers those players making history when they were only in middle school themselves. Basketball is a beautiful game, and women continue to make history.
So enter the NYG Hoops Coast 2 Coast All-American Camp, where over 150 players who have not even made it to their high school years, recently inspired by all this great basketball, gather from near and far to compete and get better. A big stage indeed was set, and the cast delivered in front of talent evaluators and media.
In a time of year where we are primed and ready for club basketball season, individual events with a strong reputation such as this one are always welcome. Here are just a handful of the players who garnered attention last Saturday. We look forward to a busy spring and summer in the gym, and a more “normal” travel season. For sure these players will be those to look for.
