CHICAGO, Ill.—The 16th annual Girls McDonald’s All-American Game looms Wednesday night after a hectic three days in the Windy City.  Multiple practice sessions, a scrimmage, the POWERADE Jam Fest, a visit to Ronald McDonald House and Tuesday evening’s reception and banquet have kept the 24 athletes on the go since their arrival.  Tip off for the game is slated for 4:00 pm CST in the United Center.  All the action will be broadcast live on ESPN2 with the 40th annual boy’s game following at 6 pm on ESPN.  Today we thought we would share a few “close up” images of the players we’ve been watching, evaluating and writing about over the last several years before they take the floor for one of the last times as a scholastic athlete.

Mark Lewis is a national evaluator and photographer for Blue Star Basketball as well as the lead columnist for Blue Star Media.
