MOVING DAY: Prolific Prep will relocate to Fort Lauderdale, Florida from Northern California in time for 2025-26 school year

BENSALEM, Pa. – Prolific Prep, a regular in the Blue Star Media Elite 25 boys’ basketball rankings, is on the run. The Crew will relocate operations to Fort Lauderdale, Florida beginning with the 2025-2026 academic year.

The move marks the next chapter in a storied 11 year run that began in Napa, California, during the 2014-2015 season.

Over the past 11 seasons, Prolific Prep has established itself as a national powerhouse, producing nine NBA players, 14 McDonald’s All-Americans, and 15 Nike Hoop Summit selections. The program has won the Grind Session World Championship four times and has been selected to compete in the prestigious Chipotle High School National Basketball Tournament for six consecutive years, solidifying its place among the elite boys high school basketball programs in the country.

Last season, No. 4 Prolific Prep went 35-6 while securing the Grind Session World Championship for the third straight year and fourth time since 2020. Also split two games at the CHIPOTLE Nationals in Fishers, Indiana. It also means the Sunshine State feature three big-time national academy programs joining IMG Academy (Bradenton) and Montverde Academy. No. 1 Columbus (Miami) won’t be as strong next season but still a major player with a new coach.

As part of the transition, Prolific Prep will continue to operate as a 100% scholastic program.

Prolific Prep also announced the construction of a brand-new, state-of-the-art training facility in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. Designed to rival top-tier athletic centers nationwide, the new complex will feature a professional-grade practice court, elite-level strength staff and weight room, modern team rooms, advanced recovery suites, and much more. This next-generation facility underscores Prolific Prep’s commitment to developing world-class talent and redefining the standard in high-performance basketball training. The facility will be ready for the 2025-26 season.

Said Seth Cohen, the executive director: “Our commitment to academic excellence, character development, and championship-level basketball remains stronger than ever.”

Executive Directors and Founders Jeremy Russotti and Philippe Doherty, who launched the program with a vision to develop elite student-athletes both on and off the court, reflected.

“Napa Valley has been an incredible home for Prolific Prep. We’re deeply thankful to the local community, our partner schools, host families, and everyone who supported our vision over the past decade plus … At the same time, we’re energized by the opportunities that lie ahead in Fort Lauderdale. This move positions us to elevate every aspect of our program in the years to come.”

Head coach Ryan Bernardi and his full staff will make the move and continue to lead the program’s basketball development and competitive efforts.

“This move gives us everything we need – elite facilities, resources to support our student-athletes, and a thriving basketball culture – to keep developing NBA-level talent and competing for championships,” he added.
