No. 20 Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks) cratered 14 spots and No. 18 Mater Dei (Santa Ana) 11. No. 21 Brewster Academy (Wolfeboro, N.H.) dipped 12 positions. There are no additions this week but with state tournaments ready on standby that should change.

Well, the calendar is about to hit February. January flew by and so will February when dreams are squashed or realized.

That’ll do it for another week.

The Blue Star Media Elite 25 boys’ rankings will return Feb. 6.

Stay safe. Hope to see you at a game soon. – Christopher Lawlor
