PORTLAND, Oregon – The World Select Team rosters for the 2024 Nike Hoop Summit have been revealed so let the games begin.
The Nike Hoop Summit is slated for April 13, at Moda Center in Portland. The 2024 event will be the 25th edition of the event, featuring a men’s game and a women’s game with the top international athletes 19-and-younger facing off against the top American high school seniors.

The 2024 World Select Team selects its roster from FIBA Africa, FIBA Americas, FIBA Asia, FIBA Europe and FIBA Oceania, with approved sanction of FIBA, the governing body of international basketball.
The men’s team will be led by head coach Marshall Cho and the women’s team by head coach Carly Clarke.
The women’s World Select Team features 6-foot-2 forward Toby Fournier from Crestwood Prep (Canada) and Ajsa Sivka a 6-3 small forward from Slovenia playing for Famila Schio. Annika Soltau is a 6-foot-4 small forward from Germany who is committed to play at the University of Washington and Faith Etute is committed to play at the University of Oregon next year. Syla Swords (Canada) is a 6-foot guard from Long Island Lutheran and Delaney Gibb (Canada) a 5-foot-10 guard from Raymond High School are returning to the event after having played last year. Additional members of the roster include Daria Biriuk (Ukraine), Avery Howell(Canada), Shay Ijiwoye (Nigeria), Vivian Iwuchukwu (Nigeria), Kate Koval (Ukraine) and Olivia Vukosa (Croatia).
Headlining the men’s World Select Team roster are three players from the NBA Academies, three McDonald’s All-Americans and the youngest player eligible for the 2024 NBA Draft. Ulrich Chomche (Cameroon), Khaman Maluach (South Sudan) and Hamad Mousa(Qatar) all are members of the NBA Academy initiative, with Chomche being the youngest player eligible for this year’s draft. Flory Bidunga (Democratic Republic of Congo), Zoom Diallo (Ivory Coast) and V.J. Edgecombe (Bahamas) have all been named to the 2024 McDonalds All-American Game. A.J. Dybantsa (Jamaica & Republic of Congo) joins the roster as the youngest men’s player to compete in this year’s game. Additional members of the roster are Melvin Ajinca (France), Annor Boateng (Ghana), Kasparas Jakucionis (Lithuania), Qingfang Pang (China) and Nolan Traore (France).
Some of the NBA’s biggest stars have turned in key performances at the Nike Hoop Summit. In the 2011 game, Anthony Davisrecorded 16 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks; Dirk Nowitzki recorded 33 points and helped the World Team to a win in 1998; and in 2017 Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished with 11 points and two assists. The USA boasts a 17-7 series advantage over the World team. An impressive 287 Nike Hoop Summit alumni have been drafted by NBA teams, with 15 having been selected with the No. 1 pick and 92 taken in the top 10. For more information, click here.
USA Basketball previously announced the USA rosters for the 2024 game. Nike Hoop Summit has been held annually since 1995, except for 2001-03 and 2020-21, and has been in Portland since 2008.
