HAMPTON, Va.—Round one is now in the books and the 2015 Nike Elite Youth Basketball League will take a hiatus until the July recruiting period. While all 32 teams were on hand in Hampton, when round two rolls around two divisions (Griner and Taurasi) will head to Chicago and the Nike National Invitational while the remaining two (Moore and Diggins) will be off to Nashville and the Battle in the Boro. All the games will be divisional match ups wrapping up the 10 game “regular season” qualifying for the right to take the floor in North Augusta when Nike Nationals tips off during the homestretch of the July evaluation period.

Below are the standings for each division following two conference match ups and three randomly drawn cross-divisional games. Keep in mind that to punch a ticket to the ultimate Swoosh Swore’ a team must finish in the top six within their respective division. With two undefeated teams (Cal Stars and Philadelphia Belles) and seven others standing at 4 and 1 there’s still plenty of potential to fly high or crash and burn. Two teams, All Ohio and West Coast Premier, have the toughest uphill battles having gone winless in Hampton but each is competing in a different division.
In the inaugural EYBL season two teams moved on to Nike Nationals with undefeated slates after 10 games. On the other end of the spectrum, one team qualified with just two victories while the remaining 21 final round participants qualified with anywhere from four to nine wins.
