BENSALEM, Pa. – The top three in the Blue Star Media Elite 25 girls’ basketball rankings were static. The rest of the Top 10 remained in tact but there were a few revisions.
The top three is firm: No. 1 Bishop McNamara (Forestville, Md.), No. 2 Miami (Fla.) Country Day and No. 3 Africentric Early College (Columbus, Ohio).

Another team that took a hit was No. 25 St. John Vianney (Holmdel, N.J.) that dipped six positions after a loss to No. 4 St. John’s College (Washington, D.C.). The Lady Lancers stay in the Elite 25 and entered the week as New Jersey’s top-ranked team.
No. 12 Edison Public School Academy (Detroit) zooms up 11 spots after knocking off two Illinois opponents last weekend on the road.
No. 24 Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, Pa.) enters the Elite 25 after winning back-to-back tournaments. Last weekend the undefeated Lady Patriots waltzed into New Orleans to capture the Allstate Sugar Bowl Platinum Division title with three wins in three days. Coach Sherri Retif is originally from the Crescent City and must have enjoyed her homecoming. GA plays three games this week back in the commonwealth.
