In past years, many of you will have followed an array of young guns at the various European Youth Championships (U16, U18 and U20) as well some players on the global level (U17, U19). Now many of those rising stars are making the transition to their respective senior teams.
The second FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2019 Qualifying window, following the past November one, is in the books. We kept tracking how the U21 players have been contributing to their nation’s progress.
(Some newly selected players who had not been part of either final or preliminary rosters during that first qualifiers window back in November have been added at the end of this ranking)

Born to Polish PE teachers/coaches parents, involvement with sport and basketball was never a question. Eastern attention to fundamentals, athleticism, discipline and hard work eventually met Western standards through his development in the French system. Now a former player with a passion for the women’s game going back for more than 25 years, he uses his knowledge to bring insights and perspective on women's basketball internationally - with a strong emphasis on Europe and player development.
