BENSALEM, Pa. – There seems to be a quiet before the storm. And that’s the feeling as nation is in playoff mode—at least outside of Texas.

That’s right, power states Florida, South Carolina and Georgia open the postseason this weekend while Texas still has another weekend of games before six weeks of sheer delight with the season wrapping up on December 22.

So there are seven weeks remaining until a Blue Star Media Elite 25 National Champion will be crowned. Schools from California, Texas and Florida are in position through the first week of November but usually changes in a flash.

We’ll have it covered.

For a second straight there are no additions to the Elite 25 as everyone won or enjoyed a bye week. Having said that The Blue Star Media Elite 25 football rankings will return on November 14.

The clock is ticking on football in your area. Make sure to get out to game before time runs out. The postseason is about drama and it’s waiting to happen.

Hope to see you at a game soon. – Christopher Lawlor
