Prayers For Mandy

The women’s basketball community is made up of a vast diversity of individuals all deeply vested in our game.  Each one makes sacrifices and gives in their own way to programs, teams and individuals.  Whether we know each personally, on the road or just in the gym, we’re an extended family who can appreciate just how important the people in each others lives are to them.  Our good friend Al Coleman of the Cy-Fair Shock program in Texas is facing the kind of battle no parent should ever have to encounter.  His daughter Amanda was critically injured in a car accident on August 31st and continues her long road to recovery.  Recent decisions by insurance providers are making the challenges in front of Al’s family difficult beyond Amanda’s actual rehabilitation.

If you would like to help in any way you can, follow the link below to the gofundme site for more information on Mandy’s circumstances and how you can help the family of one of the true gentlemen in our game.

Please take the time to tweet, share and provide any other means of spreading the word that might help create an extended awareness of the opportunity to give.

Thank you for keeping Mandy, Al and the rest of the family in your thoughts and prayers.
