PHILADELPHIA, PA – October was a busy month of basketball, as the 2020 Rising Blue Star/Blue Star Combine camp circuit finally got underway across the country.
After a bit of a COVID-19 delay, the Rising Blue Star train crisscrossed the Midwest, with early stops in Minneapolis and Chicago to open up. We highlighted each of these events in depth, check it out:

But as the schedule really got going later in the month, the talent was off the charts great in usual stalwarts such as Philadelphia, Birmingham, and Indianapolis. Also, a new event emerged in Louisville, Kentucky, hosted by longtime college coach and our newest addition to the Blue Star team, Coach George Washington. All in all, nearly 500 players attended a camp in October!
As we look to the November portion of the schedule, we wanted to rattle off just a handful of the many names that impressed us in October. And as always, for the up to date and ever evolving and growing Rising Blue Star schedule, you can check out the website…
As you scroll through these standouts, we hope you are reminded that it’s basketball that connects us, from all over the country and the world. Seeing players from top clubs from all over the country, teaching the game, and celebrating the growth of women’s basketball, that is what it’s all about. Onward and upward into November, and beyond!
