RELAUNCH: 48 top boys and girls prospects named to 2022 UA Next Elite 24 Games on Aug. 12 in Chicago; first summer all-star event since 2016

CHICAGO – The lakeshore of Lake Michigan will become the center of the grassroots basketball universe on Aug. 12.

The 2022 UA Next Elite 24 rosters were announced on Aug. 1, revealing 48 of the nation’s premier boys and girls high school standouts that will shine in the event’s long-awaited return at Northerly Island.

  Top-flight prospects from the Class of 2023, 2024 and 2025 are scheduled to take part in the event, with the boys game making its return for the first time since 2016, while it will be the first competition for the girls.

The games will be shown live on ESPNU, starting with the girls at 5 p.m. ET and the boys follow at 7 p.m. ET.

Tickets to the 2022 UA Next Elite 24 are free and available to the public. To register for tickets, log on to Eventbrite.com and search “Under Armour Next Elite 24.” Bleacher seating and standing room areas will be available around the court to view the games. Food trucks, fan activations, giveaways and more will complement the dynamic on-court action during the event.
