Stars Shine Bright at Fall RBS and BSC events

The dip in temperature, changing leaves, and all of our favorite autumn traditions mean one thing for us, camp season! This year, our Rising Blue Star Camp series once again saw over 1000 campers from 20 cities coast-to-coast. We got a sneak peek at players as young as the class of 2029, and once again, we were wowed by some of the performances.

As we continue to navigate and emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, it was great to get back to some regions we sorely missed in 2020. More than 30 states were represented as we drove and flew all over the US in September and October, working with and discovering the next wave of women’s basketball stars. Being right there on the floor teaching and sharing the game in a combine-style workout gives a unique perspective, as we get more time seeing players compete with their school and club teams most of the year.

It’s also tremendously rewarding to see so many players who have come through Rising Blue Star events now out doing their thing at a high level in the college ranks, while the next batch is anxiously knocking on the door. 2022’s are signing on the dotted line, and 2023’s are trimming down their final lists. We are here for it all! It’s often so very cool to be able to say, “I remember her back when…”

Looking forward, we wish everyone a great season this winter, and can’t wait to see some great high school basketball! And now, for everyone’s favorite part, here are just a handful of players from some of the cities we visited that caught our attention this fall.

Happy Hooping!
