STARS SHINE: Bailey, Costello earn Co-MVPs at 23rd Pangos All-American Camp in Las Vegas; three Santa Margarita (CA) players recognized

LAS VEGAS – The Pangos All-American Camp did not disappoint. For three days the best of the best prep basketball players went head-to-head at the 23rd annual prestigious national that wrapped up on Tuesday, June here at Bishop Gorman High School.
Camp director Dinos Trigonis netted the top talent, especially from the West Coast and cited two players who stood out in the galaxy of future stars.
The camp co-Most Valuable Players were rising seniors 6-3 Kaiden Bailey of Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.) and 6-10 Quinn Costello of The Newman School (Boston).
The Top 30 Cream of the Crop game MVPs were rising seniors 6-5 Bryson Howard of Frisco (Texas) Heritage, 6-8 Brayden Kyman of Santa Margarita and 6-6 Jacob Lanier of DME Academy (Daytona Beach, Fla.).
The Top 60 Cream of the Crop game MVPs were rising seniors 6-5 Andrew Williford of AZ Compass Prep (Chandler, Ariz.), 6-9 Drew Anderson of Santa Margarita, 6-8 Shane Pendergrass of Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, and rising junior 6-0 Micah Gordon of Plainfield (N.J.)
The future is now and the Pangos once again gave a glimpse of what to expect for the 2025-26 high school season with several of the players starring on teams from the Blue Star Media Elite 25 rankings that will debut in October. Methinks Santa Margarita of the uber-competitive Trinity League in southern California will be a serious national player. Santa Margarita won the Trinity League last season and will battle with St. John Bosco (Bellflower) and Mater Dei (Santa Ana) for the chip.
The final camp statistics and box scores are here.
