WILMINGTON, DE – For years, we have grown accustom to the NYG Hoops Super 64 Showcase, an event that elicits basketball talent from up and down the Mid-Atlantic region.
The tradition of excellence carried on in 2020, as over 100 players, from the dawn of their middle school years up to seniors in high school, gathered in the beautiful 76ers Field House in Wilmington last Friday night.
Two separate sessions divided the age groups, and after a great skills session to get started, players dove right in to full court competition. There was a mix of talent from upstate New York, down into the boroughs of New York City that our host Joe Fenelon calls home, across the river into New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and states beyond.
As school gets started and even the extended club basketball season starts to slow down, this was another opportunity for players to compete and to be noticed. Here are a few of the many who did just that on Friday night. Blue Star Media will continue our coverage as the fall progresses, so keep it locked in right here as always.
