Winners, Winners at 23rd Hershey Showcase

HERSHEY, PA – USJN hosted their 23 annual Hershey National Showcase last weekend at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center.

Over 100 teams from 10 states and Ontario came to the Chocolate Capital of the World, some looking for a pre-July tune up and others looking to end their seasons (as younger teams) on a high note.

Here’s a list of the champions from this year’s event:

11U: Team Durant

Now, let’s dive in to some of the standout players who turned in clutch performances during the four day event.

Jordyn Acree – 2027 – 5-7 – Guard – MD Belles 14 – A power guard at this point…Will bully her way to the basket…Plays hard…Still learning but has a chance no doubt

Namiah Battle – 2031 – 5-3 – Point Guard – Maryland Belles 12 – Super young PG playing up a couple years and showing promise…Can handle and shoot it well for her size and age…Going to be a player…Plays her position effectively, calling out the play and making herself available to teammates for the ball reversal

Trinity Chappell – 2027 – 5-6 – Guard – MD Belles 14 – Athletic tools…Has some length for her height…Adept at pushing and getting to the rack in transition

Ocean Dennis – 2027 – 5-10 – Wing – Kia Nurse Elite 14 National – Mix of perimeter and interior acumen…Solid instincts…Good athlete with a nice frame…Smooth release on shot…Probable wing long term

Mihia Diby – 2027 – 5-11 – Forward – Elevate Elite 14 Gold – Keep an eye on the next few years…Good physical make up…Capable rebounder…Footwork foundation is there…See how she builds the offensive side of things

Bella Dmowski – 2028 – 5-10 – Wing – CT Storm 13 – Does some nice work off the dribble with an advanced size and frame for a rising 8th grader…Uses height and length to pass over the top…Rebounds the ball in a crowd and takes off with it on her own…Also good at ripping and driving…Nice hands…Creates a lot for others, but can keep it and score on her own as well

Micah Doy – 2029 – 5-0 – Point Guard – Team Durant 12 – Little jet with the ball…Good with the rock…Step back three reminiscent of that of an older player…Finds her teammates pretty well too…Points and assists in droves

Gabrielle Fajemirokun – 2029 – 6-4 – Post – Kia Nurse Elite 13 National – Thin frame but super long inside…Active on both sides of the ball…Huge hands…Hard to shoot over in the paint for sure

Jaylin Frye – 2029 – 5-8 – Forward – New England Crusaders 12 – Strong and going to be a big kid…Faces up in high post and surveys the floor…Can take a couple dribbles…Likes to drive right…Has a skillset…Nice stroke at the FT line

Emma Harris – 2027 – 5-6 – Combo Guard – Jersey Drive 14 – Gritty combo guard…Good handle and can push with pace…Lots of lay ups and subsequent trips to the foul lead to point production…Zips one hand passes around with accuracy…Knows how to get open

Lina Hashimi – 2027 – 5-10 – Wing/Forward – VA Hurricanes 14 – Mature build for her age…Quick first step to drive…Can work on the wing or in the high post…Does some nice things in the paint, scoring and boarding…Helps protect the paint on D

Kimora Hawkins – 2028 – 5-5 – Point Guard – Central PA Elite 13 – Lots of thefts and transition buckets here…Flies around out there…Runs down loose balls…Makes some things happen off the bounce…Length helps

Joley Hohman – 2027 – 5-6 – Point Guard – Mid Atlantic Magic 14 – Toughness on display from this heady, vocal young lead guard…Can handle the ball with some strength…Battles…Want the ball in her hands, especially down the stretch of close games…Still progressing with the jump shot

Olivia Izzi – 2029 – 5-0 – Guard – Philly House of Hoops 12 – Really made plays consistently throughout the weekend to lead her team to the championship…Steady with the ball in her hands…Energetic youngster

Olivia Jarvis – 2024 – 5-11 – Wing/Forward – CT Starters 17 Williams – Has some hops and will elevate to take the jumper or make the pass…Tough to the rack…Consistent performer and impacts the outcome of games in different ways

Claudia Jenny – 2027 – 5-5 – Point Guard – WI Foundation Athletics 14 – Love how vocal she is as a floor general…Keeps the D honest from beyond the arc…Does a good job getting the team into the offense…Communicator…Plays with some fire

Jaylah King – 2028 – 5-5 – Combo Guard – MD Belles 13 – Will get stronger with age, but has a nice, long frame…Smooth and natural with the ball…Can throw a variety of passes and tends to choose the right one for a situation

Emily Knowles – 2025 – 5-8 – Guard – CT Starters 17 Medeiros – Stock up on this sharpshooter…Can knock down the three but also has a good pull up off the dribble…Just very efficient…Finishes through some contact…Battles for boards and not afraid to mix it up

Hayley Kolk – 2027 – 6-0 – Forward – Mid Atlantic Magic 14 – Has plenty of length and at times puts it to good use…Can rebound and take a couple dribbles to start the break…Like where ball handling is for her age…Tried some up and under in the post…Only going to continue to put it all together with work

Cianna Land – 2027 – 6-0 – Wing/Forward – District One 14 – Can take the three, and if you crowd her it’s a shot fake and go…Was a match up problem for defenders…Ceiling is expanding, intriguing to watch

Carsyn Lassiter – 2029 – 5-11 – Post – Team Durant 12 – Tremendous size for age…Sprints floor very well…Looks like she’s already in high school…Has a drop step, working on the finishing part…Goes after the ball when it comes off the rim

Breya Letennier – 2028 – 5-8 – Guard – Team Sharp 13 Carolina – Skilled playmaker for age…Smooth release on the shot…Gets to the cup at a good rate too…Key role in the championship run

Addison Levensten – 2026 – 5-9 – Guard – Lady Runnin Rebels 15 – Nice little turn around J in the lane is a go to for her…Can handle for a two guard…Trey ball splashes…Some nice assists in the flow of the offense…Makes some heads up plays on D as well

Sanyiah Littlejohn – 2025 – 5-8 – Guard – Philadelphia Belles 17 – Really coming into her own as a primary scoring option…Athletic and it shows off the bounce and when she finishes…Magnet for contact and not afraid to put her body on the line

Ava London – 2027 – 5-7 – Combo Guard – Mid-Penn Motion 14 – Put on a show…Scoring combo guard with all sorts of tricks up her sleeve…Arsenal of finishes…Shooting a step back like an upperclassmen…A problem for the defenders…Putting herself on the radar

Anaisah Malone – 2024 – 5-8 – Guard – Keystone Karma – High motor, athletic guard…Just made plays all weekend, all over the floor…Defends well…Knack for scoring off the bounce…Gets out in the passing lanes…Makes some plays physically that change the game

Carly McDonald – 2025 – 5-8 – Guard – Complete Player Elite 16 – Sniper from three point land…Left handed and strongly prefers that side off the dribble, even though she seems capable with the right….Good vision

Sierra Mitjans – 2030 – 5-6 – Forward – Team Durant 11 – Playing the forward spot for now but plenty of time to figure out position long term…Nice break away lay up with the left hand…Lanky athlete, likely to grow more…Finished with both hands, and showed some good hands on defense

Maya Morrison – 2028 – 5-10 – Forward – Team Sharp 13 Carolina – Long and athletic face up forward…Has the physical tools…Will hit the high low as well…Handles in the open court with pace…Lefty

Jordyn Patrick – 2028 – 5-10 – Forward – NJ She Natural 13 – Imposing size stands out for this youngster…Can attack the rack…Able to bring the ball up on her own…Will post up a bit…Some hang time to get O boards

Nadya Pemberton – 2030 – 6-0 – Forward – MD Belles 12 – Noticeable size for age, arms hang down to her knees…Some big mits too…Learning how to post up…Swatted away some shots…Just getting started on the offensive end

Marill Plivic – 2029 – 6-1 – Forward – Kia Nurse Elite 13 Regional – Tall and long, will post some…Runs the floor well…Good lateral mobility…Knows how to play post defense

Sanaa Ridley – 2028 – 5-4 – Guard – MD Belles 13 – Youngster to know out of the DMV…Definitely a hooper…Good to the rack and has some hangtime to score it…Has a little sauce and an easy flow with the ball…Shot is coming along…Flashes of big time potential

Viktoria Savin – 2027 – 6-1 – Post – NYC Lady Bulldogs 14 – Can’t miss size out on the court…Blocks shots by the bunches…Keeps it high and finishes at a solid tick…Catches the ball well

Alaina Small – 2029 – 5-2 – Point Guard – New England Crusaders 12 – Nice driver for age, and has a little scoop finish…Handles PG duties well…Takes care of the ball, changes directions and knows how to retreat out of trouble…Has a chance

Makayla Smith – 2030 – 5-2 – Guard – Team Durant 11 – Consistently getting and finishing lay ups at an early age, especially in transition…Skilled for age…Anticipates well in press and knows what to do when she gets a steal

Adeline Standish – 2024 – 6-1 – Forward – CT Starters 17 Williams – Good skills…Scores in the paint…Boards it and quickly gets it back up to the rim for a put back…Does the dirty work, gets on the floor…Gets her hands on the basketball a lot

Noelle Thomas – 2025 – 6-3 – Post – Philadelphia Belles 16 – Rim runner…Built to play, can’t teach the physical traits…Gets up a bit to board…Developing the offensive tool set

Angelica Tompkins – 2024 – 5-7 – Guard – CT Storm 17 – Scoring guard…Gets some good downhill speed with the ball…Drive or shoot the three, pick your poison…Wants to get the ball and go…Some tough buckets and can make her own shot opportunities

Raevin Washington – 2024 – 6-5 – Forward – VBC Elite 17 – Under the radar at 6’5 without a doubt…Still needs to fill out and get stronger…Track star with some legit hops at her size…Thrives when she can face up and attack and even goes coast to coast and gets up around the rim to finish…Plays straight up on D, leading to plenty of rejections…High percentage free throw shooter

Zayne White – 2028 – 6-2 – Post – Kia Nurse Elite 13 National – Agile big with some strength in the paint…Slides her feet well on D…Average hops for size but going to pull her share of rebounds down…See how the offensive game develops

Brianna Zaher – 2026 – 5-10 – Guard/Forward – GTS Flight 15 – Can wrap around the rim to finish some with all that length…Active around the ball…Boards it…Also hit the three…Some versatility
