DEARFIELD, Ill.– On a Saturday morning that had the whole city of Chicago buzzing after a Chicago Cubs playoff victory, just north of the city, a group of girls came together for the National Exposure Showcase. The event, presented by Nicc Jackson and Elite Girls Basketball, unveiled some players who have yet to be spotted on most recruiting or evaluation radars, and others still who are already among the elite in their young classes.

While all young players hoping to advance their game deserve the opportunity to take the floor, some stood out just a bit more than others last weekend and that’s our focus. Here is a quick look at 13 players who had some strong moments in Dearfield last weekend.

Lindsay Blackmore- 2020- Wing- Geneva, IL- Lean build…Takes it to the rim and finishes… Doesn’t mind contact…Needs to get stronger and continue finding a consistent shot…Keep an eye on her

Taylor Charles- 2022- Guard- Oswego, IL- Next level body already…Nice looking stroke…Needs to improve ball handling…Would like to see her take over more… Keep watching

Christine Corpuz- 2020- Guard- Oswego, IL- Really unselfish…Pass first PG…Great vision and good handles, especially in open court…Penetrates and kicks…Solid looking stroke…Under the radar

Kylie Feuerbach- 2020- Wing- Sycamore, IL- Lean build…Solid looking three player…Good stroke who can hit the three…Smart player who moves well and has a good feel for the game…Can handle it a bit…Nice upside

Camille Jackson- 2022- Guard- Chicago, IL- Smooth athletic guard with great build…Nice stroke…Leaper who gets off the floor…Handles are solid…Very high ceiling

Greta Kampschroeder- 2021- Wing- Naperville, IL- One of the best players in her class that I’ve seen…Long, athletic…Good handles, uses them to get where she wants to go…Great stroke and range out to three…Footwork is excellent…Good teammate who encourages and talks… Special…Already receiving high level interest

Cencere McDaniel- 2021- Guard- Alsip, IL- Quick guard with good handles…Made several great passes after getting rebound and taking it the length of the floor…Good vision…Sound looking jumper

Kendall Moriarty- 2021- Guard- Wheaton, IL- Lean player who finishes at the rim…Shot is a little flat, but should be able to fix it with a little work…Need to see a bit more consistency but had flashes…Posted up a smaller guard and finished in paint with left…Needs to continue to add strength

Lexi Moriarty- 2020- Wing- Wheaton, IL- Long frame…Moves well…Gets to rim and finishes…Shot comes from a bit too low, but at times it looks good…Needs to develop a consistent shot…Under the radar player

Lindsey Rodgers- 2020- Wing- Naperville, IL- Deceptively athletic…Lefty with a smooth stoke…Solid build…Can handle the ball and scores off the dribble in a variety of ways…Vocal and teammates are drawn to her…Receiving high level interest

Bridget Rolla- 2021- Wing- Rolling Meadows, IL- Bit of a “tweener”, though more of a three…Plays lockdown defense…Works hard on both ends of the floor…Gets to the rim using strength…Sneaky player who does a lot of nice things

Ally VanTimmeren- 2021- Wing- Allendale, IL- Long, lean wing player…Consistence on shot is developing but looks good…Lefty…Already solid but has a ton of potential…Works hard and holds herself accountable…Directs offense from post and establishes position on the block well…Can handle the ball well…Big time ceiling

Xamiya Walton- 2024- Guard- Chicago, IL- Tiny, very young guard with good handles…Has really good arc on shot…Isn’t scared to get in the mix
