Title IX Holiday Invitational Conference and Classic Day 1

WASHINGTON, DC – The Title IX Holiday Invitational Conference and Classic were created by the Sankofa Project to promote Title IX compliance and ensure that parents, students, administrators and legislators know of the benefits of Title IX and NCAA eligibility for all students. Using positive peer pressure as part of our prevention and intervention model, NTHICC brings scholar athletes who are champions in the classroom, on the court and in their community to DC to inspire young students in the Nation’s Capitol and across the nation to play a sport and play with a purpose. The 4th annual tournament includes 16 teams, eight from the DC Metro region and eight from around the country, featuring many of high school basketball’s top college prospects.
